The BMA isn’t representing regular GPs
Once upon a time there was a union for provincial GPs, to represent us, in the same way to how the hospital consultants were represented by their colleges.
That union seems to have become the BMA, still standing up for the consultants, but forgetting about representing provincial GPs.
What a pity. Perhaps we should form our own union? History may be repeating itself again...
