You cannot win a war without a fight.
The objective of all governments is to have the cheapest service available but our prime consideration must be the quality of the service we provide. We have reneged on the promise to provide quality. Nurse practitioners, formularies, the out-of-hours opt-out, accepting money for tick-box medicine and the complete farce of the 10-minute appointment – the list is endless.
We have sold our souls for cash and an easy life and have lost all moral authority. Let's get back to caring only about the quality of our work. We will win hands down because we will be right and the public will back us.
