What about MPs’ pensions?
I would like to know what MPs are doing about their own pensions.
When I started in the NHS, a financial adviser told me my pension would stay a good deal because politicians had a similar scheme – MPs were unlikely to change their benefits, so they couldn't change ours.
I didn't believe him then and I doubt MPs are showing the way by sorting out their own pensions. Perhaps we would be a little more likely to accept our pensions must be cut if they also cut their own.
