Copperfield spot on on self-prescribing
In his recent column on the increasing scrutiny faced by GPs who self-prescribe, Copperfield is spot on
Common sense and responsible behaviour – such as self-prescribing for minor illness – should be encouraged, but hey, this is the NHS.
My sickness absence over 33 years is negligible (apart from five weeks for a hip replacement). I think this is probably true for most of the older generation of GPs.
Roll on retirement.
