What's new in type 2 diabetes: a video module (1 CPD hour)

Professor Martin Stevens, consultant diabetologist, discusses the latest in type 2 diabetes diagnosis and management, including the new SGLT2 inhibitors.

This module will guide you through the newest developments in type 2 diabetes, including:

  • Evidence base for the new SGLT2 inhibitors
  • Factors that constitute a diagnosis of diabetes in the UK
  • NICE recommendations on stratifying patients at risk of diabetes
  • Managing co-morbidities

Professor Stevens gave this talk at Pulse Live which took place in May 2013.
