GPs buried under trusts' workload dump

Pulse’s alternative election manifesto

You voted for the changes you want to see: here are the results

We asked you what changes you would like to see politicians implement and hundreds of you responded. The seven most popular ideas, as voted by more than 400 GPs online from a choice of 20, are listed here, in order of popularity.

Pulse has sent these ideas to the main political parties, urging that they be implemented if they reach office.

Our manifesto represents only the start of what needs to be done, but the list is in stark contrast to the menu of policies currently being put to voters. It comprises easy-to-implement reforms and we’ve asked that they go right to the top of the new health secretary’s in-tray.

  • Thank you to all at Pulse for your proactivity and support for some hardworking but pretty demoralised GPs out here!

Go to all these politicians who said they would increase so many GPs. Get them to swallow their paper copies right in front of you to show their 'sincerity'!!
