  • Practices need clear guidance from the DH/BMA/RCGP as to the financial impact of MPIG being phased out and the 16% CPI reduction in QOF due to list size changes. It is still unclear if these are cost neutral on Global Sum and QOF . Certailnly the shift of 100 QOF points to 4 new DES's will have an adverse effect by delaying Practice's cash flow (by up to 5 months). We will lose a large chunk of cash flow at the worst time of year Q4 & Q1.
