Why the GP patient survey is unfair

Let's not forget other reasons why this survey is unfair.

(GPs set to miss access targets as survey scores dip further)

There is statistical error that can lead to practices losing thousands of pounds, which is exaggerated further due to the narrow payment bands.

The worst aspect in my view is that patients do not understand the way that some questions are worded.

For example, it is costing many practices thousands of pounds because they answer the second access question not realising that the advance appointment under consideration is with any GP, not their regular GP.

Please, Pulse, keep stressing these points in your reports.
