Q. How long after Covid infection which has been managed in the community do you think there is an increased risk of venous thrombo-embolism?

A. From our current cohort of 190 patients we have only diagnosed PE in the first 4 weeks post symptoms and haven’t seen this at the 6 week follow up so far, but we remain very alert to it

Q. Is there any advice we can give patients to reduce VTE risk?

A.  Hydration and maintaining mobility
