GPs are invited to a free virtual conference over two days in February on the topics of respiratory and chronic conditions.

The Pulse 365 event, on 4-5 February, is designed to support GPs in confident decision-marking as well as highlighting strategies for earlier diagnosis and management.

Tickets for this free event, worth 10 CPD hours, can be found here.

The first day will focus on respiratory health in primary care, with sessions including ‘Respiratory flags that GPs cannot miss’ and ‘Pre-school wheeze: what is it, how to manage it and when to refer’.

The following day will have speakers covering a range of chronic conditions including MASLD, CKD, ADHD and more. GPs will be able to get tips on patient-centred approaches as well as how to deal with the workload that these conditions can cause.

Speakers include: Senior GP and health broadcaster Dr Roger Henderson; consultant paediatrician and senior lecturer in child health Dr Donald MacGregor; GPSI (respiratory) and respiratory lead of Hampshire and IOW CCG (West) Dr Andy Powell; GP partner and GPwER in frailty and geriatric medicine Dr Chandni Deb-Dhillon and more.

The agenda can be found here, with more sessions to be unveiled in the new year.

The virtual event is open to all UK GMC-registered GPs and is free to attend.
