The full agenda for Pulse LIVE Newcastle has been unveiled, featuring a session focussed on analysing and explaining the new neighbourhood provider contracts.

Taking place on 15 September, the free conference will offer GPs clinical updates, practical learning and time to network with peers and exhibitors.

Among those sessions is ‘Demystifying Single- and Multi-Neighbourhood Provider Contracts’,- particularly pertinent to delegates following yesterday’s announcement from NHS England of an eight-week consultation on the proposed new neighbourhood contract models.

The consultation is aimed at general practice, PCNs, ICBs, community and other providers, local authorities, patient representatives and other stakeholders, and is looking for their perspectives on both single neighbourhood provider (SNP) and multi-neighbourhood provider (MNP) contract.

The session at Pulse LIVE Newcastle, delivered by Sintons LLP partner Alison Oliver, will cover what we know about these contracts; what the potential risks for practices, PCNs and federations are, as well as legal tips.

Worth up to four CPD points, the conference will also cover topics such as:

  • Management of COPD in general practice
  • Diagnosing and managing testosterone deficiency
  • Paediatric allergy and anaphylaxis management in primary care

You can read the full agenda here.

Tickets are free for all practising, GMC-registered GPs and GP trainees. For more information and to sign up for the event, visit the event’s website.

The Pulse LIVE roadshow will be travelling across the country throughout 2026, with events in Belfast, Liverpool and Glasgow planned.
