Care reforms white paper

The social care system in the UK, like the NHS, is under reform at the moment. The DH has engaged GPs so far by commissioning research by the RCGP into carers, and their health needs. It also aims to reduce emergency admissions by creating round-the-clock community response services, as seen in Nottingham. The report contains details of what will be reformed and how the Government plans to undertake change.
