GMC leaders and RCGP chair to speak at first-ever Pulse LIVE Belfast

GMC chief executive Charlie Massey and chair Dame Carrie McEwen will address the first-ever Pulse LIVE Belfast next month.

The session, which is titled ‘in conversation with the GMC’, will focus on the ‘changing shape of Northern Ireland’s medical workforce’.

The conference will also see an address by RCGP Northern Ireland chair Dr Ursula Mason, whose speech will focus on the ‘value of general practice beyond the headlines’.

Pulse LIVE, which takes place at the Crowne Plaza on Thursday 6 November, is worth around 4 CPD hours, covering clinical topics including asthma, cancer, chronic pain, sexual health, migraines, menopause and lifestyle medicine.

Pulse editor Sofia Lind, who will also attend the conference, said: ‘We’re delighted to bring Pulse LIVE to Belfast with such a strong line-up. It looks sure to be a day both practical and energising, with sessions designed to make a real difference to everyday practice.’

Pulse LIVE is free to attend for GPs and GP trainees.
