The ‘deadly chicken cover up’, cheese to stave off diabetes and older mums needing c-sections

Supermarkets selling ‘deadly’ chicken are not being named by watchdogs, reports the Daily Mail.

Officials said six-in-10 fresh whole chickens sold in supermarkets have the stomach bug campylobacter.

In the good-news section, eating cheese and other dairy products may protect against type 2 diabetes, according to new research. The Telegraph reports that it is the saturated fat which may offer protection.

Also on the Telegraph, women over 40 are three times more likely than women 20-24 to need an emergency c-section. The rates compared as 22.4% versus 6.7%.
