The shingles vaccine Zostavax is back in stock and GPs in England, Scotland and Wales are being invited to place orders – although English practices will be limited to 20 doses per order.
A delay in the manufacturing process forced Public Health England to limit practices to five doses per practice in October. But supplies ran out because – according to PHE – some practices submitted multiple orders.
Scottish and Welsh practices are being advised to refer to local Health Protection teams for guidance on the number of doses that can be ordered,
