Pulse Writing Competition: Could you be our next GP blogger?

Pulse Writing Competition: Could you be our next GP blogger?

Please note, this is now closed for entries. The editorial team will be looking at the entries over the next few weeks, and will shortly be featuring the best entries.

Pulse is on the hunt for new blogger talent – could you be the GP writer we are looking for?

Have you ever sat reading Pulse, wringing your hands in despair, going: ‘I could do better than that!’

Well if so, now’s your chance to prove it! We are kicking off the year with the return of our writing competition to find new GP writers to entertain (or exasperate) readers.

To apply, all you need to do is write a blog on one of the following themes:

  • ‘The lies I tell my patients’
  • ‘The case that still gives me nightmares’
  • ‘Why I’m still in the job’

GPs of all career stages are welcome to enter.

Entries will be judged by our team, with the best blogs being published on Pulse; as well as the opportunity to become one of our regular writers – joining the likes of Copperfield, Dr Margaret Ikpoh, Dr Katie Musgrave, Dr David Turner, Dr Burnt Out and Dr Paul O’Reilly.

There’s nothing to lose, so give it your best shot! We look forward to receiving your entries.
