The song perfect day is well chosen because it's own history parallels that of UK GP.
In the 70s, it was sung by one person (I call this continuity of singing), that person had written lots of good songs (generalism) and he was often drunk at work.

In the 90s, that changed. The same words were passed from one singer to another, with little continuity, the multiple singers tried to care what they were singing about but they were too interested in the way their message was presented, than actually what the message meant. Michael Jenkins
