These calculators are useless.
They are mostly ito the bulk of self employed GPs. They appear to be of some use to salaried GPs. And in any case, with respect to the "Choice Career" calculator, that might have been of some use to GPs with Career Average earnings Pensions ..."NHS Pensions has currently suspended use of the NHS Pension Choice Career Calculator."

Why is the procedure for obtaining proper accurate and binding pensions forecasts so difficult in the NHS Scheme?

Most of us have our SD86s going back years, and it surely would save time and manpower at Fleetwood to devise an official spreadsheet type calculator that we could input our own figures, get them dynamised, and churn out a quote?

I have even asked the BMA to do it, but they're too busy trying to ban boxing. Dyfed James
