Free Pulse virtual event to feature respiratory and long-term conditions
GPs are invited to a free virtual event next month dedicated to long term-conditions, respiratory and metabolic health in primary care.
Taking place on Tuesday 14 July, the Pulse 365 event is is designed to support GPs managing these conditions, providing practical clinical updates and learning that can be applied directly in everyday practice.
The expert-led sessions will explore key developments in respiratory medicine, cardiovascular and metabolic health, alongside practical strategies for managing patients with complex long-term conditions.
The full agenda is yet to be released but will cover type 2 diabetes updates, lifestyle medicine and recognising frailty in patients with long-term conditions; the latter of which is particularly relevant given the Public Accounts Committee’s finding this week that a ‘hyper-focus’ on access had affected GPs’ ability to assess and manage vulnerable patients with frailty.
Tickets for this free event are available here.
This event is a chance for GPs to hear from clinicians facing the same pressures as them, get up to speed with the latest guidance, and ask experts the questions they haven’t had the chance to ask elsewhere.
The virtual event is open to all UK GMC-registered GPs of all career stages.
