PulsePlus – Hepatology (3 CPD hours)

This Pulse Plus looks at liver disease, covering non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, managing abnormal LFTs, hepatitis B and C and jaundice.

Learning objectives


This module will update your knowledge on liver disease, including:

  • Managing patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
  • Diagnosing alcoholic liver disease
  • When to refer patients with isolated raised liver enzymes   
  • diagnosing and managing viral hepatitis
  • identifying jaundice
