US docs told to vaccinate children against flu ASAP

 

All children at least 6 months of age should be vaccinated against influenza as soon as possible, US doctors have been told.

As UK GPs prepare to start vaccinating two and three year olds against flu, the American Academy of Pediatrics has updated its guidance to recommend all children be immunised as soon as possible. 

The guidance is published in the October issue of Pediatrics.
