Dr Richard Page, a GP in Audley, Staffordshire, has had a busy day - and has an equally busy night to look forward to.
Morning surgery, then a partners' meeting before a couple of visits. Then down to PCT offices for a meeting with the commissioning team about problems with our local acute trust and also community nursing.
Back to surgery by 3.30pm to get on with the next lot of patients. With any luck should be home by 7pm - just in time to get something to eat before going out for the rest of the night looking after detainees in the local police central lock-up.
