Very few GPs are enthusiasts for commissioning in my experience, so the lack of contested elections does not surprise me.

Serving an emperor (dictatorship) is like serving a hungry tiger as we said in Chinese . Is there really anything we can do to save our profession ?
My concern is the future of our forthcoming generations of GP......

I don't think we should be too concerned about future generations of GPs- they're all going to Australia.....

Total opposition from the BMA-I think not, just mealy mouthed requests for insignificant changes. The greatest threat to universal healthcare in this country and our so called representatives continue to be polite and respectful.
