Interpol has launched a global alert over a dangerous diet pill that killed British student Eloise Parry, reports the Telegraph. The student had bought the drug online but it contained the toxic pesticide dinitrophenol which proved lethal.
A regular blood test can detect 86% of ovarian cancers before the point where they would usually be diagnosed, the BBC writes. The Imperial College London study has followed over 46,000 women over 14 years.
