The head of the influential think-tank continues to shape the healthcare debate, recently hosting health secretary Jeremy Hunt’s announcement of changes to the GP contract.
Professor Ham continues to urge GPs to leave the ‘cottage industry’ era and practices to work together to make the most of available funds.
And his arguments regarding NHS integration have, if anything, become more persuasive as economic realities have begun to bite.
