Dr Farah Jameel has only been qualified for a year but she has already caught the attention of our panel for her ambition and determination.
Described as a ‘breath of fresh air’ and ‘a new female voice’, Dr Jameel works as a sessional GP in practices between Brighton and London, while also being a council member of the Medical Women’s Federation, a member of the BMA Equality and Diversity Committee and on East Sussex LMC.
She says: ‘Equity and fairness is important and I have attempted to champion the needs of GPs via various media and more locally with my LMC.’
