Next week: Join us at Pulse LIVE Leeds

There is now less than a week to go until Pulse LIVE returns to Leeds, on 18 March, for a day of face-to-face learning and discussion built around the realities of working in general practice.

The free GP-dedicated conference, worth 4 CPD hours, will take place at the The Queens Hotel in Leeds and will feature expert-led presentations, an exhibition and networking.

There will be a number of clinical topics covered at the event including asthma, skin lesions, contraception, rheumatology, musculoskeletal medicine, managing palpitations in primary care and more. You can see the full agenda here.

Alongside this, there will also be sessions on designing clinical workflows in the AI era, supporting neurodivergent clinicians, race equity learning points for general practice and carrying out effective remote consultations to name a few.

Speakers include:

  • Dr Richard Vautrey, GP partner and former president of the RCGP
  • Dr Ruth Burnett, executive medical director at Leeds GP Confederation and Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust, and GPER Sport and Exercise Medicine
  • Dr Mike Nix, principal clinical scientist (AI R&D), Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
  • Dr Katherine Hickman, GP and respiratory lead for West Yorkshire

Tickets are free for all practising GMC-registered GPs and GP trainees.
